Sankt Martin

Puerto Portals celebrates the 12 edition of Sankt Martin, a traditional European festival that brings together children and families to enjoy a magical evening under the stars and lantern light.

On 14th November, from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm, we are once again celebrating Sankt Martin with a very special purpose: raising funds for Fundación Rana, a non-profit organisation in the Balearic Islands dedicated to preventing child abuse and sexual maltreatment.

How does it work?

Register the participating child (aged 4 and over) by purchasing one ticket per child. On the event day, collect your game card at the information booth. Complete the activity circuit: lantern-making workshop, cookie workshop, the Sankt Martin story, and the Sankt Martin walk. Hand in your game card at the information booth. Puerto Portals will donate €3 to the Rana Foundation for each mission completed. As night falls, Sankt Martin appears on horseback, and the youngest children of the harbour begin their search for him through the marina’s streets, lighting up the darkness with their lanterns. The event ends with a delicious hot chocolate and cookies.
