This Cookies Policy describes which cookies we use on Cala Hype, for which purpose, and how you can manage your consent at any time via the "Cookie settings" link in the footer.
1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small files that a website stores on your browser to recognise you on subsequent visits, remember your preferences, or measure how the site is used. Under the same umbrella we also refer to equivalent technologies such as local storage (localStorage / sessionStorage).
2. Essential cookies
These are strictly necessary for the platform to work and do not require prior consent. They cover the organiser session, the chosen language and theme, the record of your consent decision, and protection of forms against abuse.
3. Analytics cookies
We use Vercel Web Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights for aggregated, anonymous usage metrics: most-visited pages, load times and performance. These cookies are only activated if you explicitly accept this category.
4. Consent
The first time you visit Cala Hype we show a banner that lets you accept all, reject all, or customise your decision per category. The decision is stored in your browser for 12 months, in line with EDPB and AEPD guidance. You can revoke or change it at any time via "Cookie settings" in the footer.
5. Managing cookies from your browser
Besides our preferences panel, every modern browser lets you block or delete cookies from its settings. Bear in mind that if you block essential cookies some features of the site, such as organiser sign-in, will stop working.
6. Third-party cookies
We do not allow third-party advertising or advertising cookies. The only third parties involved are the processors listed in the Privacy Policy (Vercel, Supabase, MapTiler and, optionally, Sentry and Stripe), each with its own cookies policy linked from its official website.
7. Changes to this policy
If we add or remove cookie categories we will update this page and bump the stored consent version so that the banner asks for a fresh decision. The effective date at the top of this document is always the current one.
