Respect
Treat others the way you'd want to be treated. Different opinions and perspectives are welcome; personal attacks are not.
Honesty
Share real experiences. Fake reviews and paid ratings mislead visitors and damage the whole community.
Helpfulness
Write to help others decide and discover Mallorca — clear, current, and worth someone's time.
What's welcome
Content that helps visitors find something worth going to.
Reviews & ratings
- Honest reviews based on your own experience
- Constructive criticism with suggestions to improve
- Current details — opening hours, prices, what to expect
- Practical tips for other visitors
Comments & events
- Respectful discussion and helpful additions
- Real events with accurate dates and venues
- Genuine offers with no misleading claims
What's not allowed
Content that manipulates, spams, or harms other people.
Fake content & manipulation
- Fake reviews for your own or a competitor's business
- Paid or purchased reviews
- Review-exchange schemes
- Multiple accounts used to manipulate ratings
Spam & harassment
- Unsolicited advertising
- Insults, hate speech, or discrimination
- Illegal content — pornography, violence, drugs
- Copyright violations
Moderation & reporting
Found something that breaks these guidelines? Use the Report button on any post. Our team reviews reported content and acts on anything that crosses the line.
What happens when a guideline is broken
We escalate in steps, so an honest mistake never carries the same weight as repeated abuse.
- First violation
Warning
The content is removed and you receive an email explaining why.
- Second violation
7-day suspension
Your account is temporarily suspended for seven days.
- Third violation
Permanent ban
Your account is permanently suspended, including an IP ban.
Severe violations — illegal content, serious threats, or fraud — lead to an immediate permanent ban.
Appeals
Think your content was removed by mistake? You can appeal within 14 days.
Email [email protected] with the subject “Appeals”. We review every appeal within five business days.
